July in pictures

We've been busy with 4th of July festivities, track, swimming, dance class and planning Kaden's party, but we've found time to go to the beach a few times, go strawberry picking and tend to the gardens.  Here's what we've been up to so far this month.

New Family Members

Okay so it was actually 3 weeks ago that we got them, so they aren't so new, but we got kittens!  Each kid has one.  Mackinna named hers Mr. Purrington and Kaden's is Mater.  Everyone is still getting used to each other, but so far so good, even though the pets now out number the people in our house!

Radio stations?

Yesterday Mark took the dogs to the vet so he needed to drive the Pilot, which meant I took Mackinna to swim lessons in the truck.  On the drive over she said to me, "I don't like Daddy's truck.  I don't like the radio.  It always guys talking.  The radio in your car Mommy, plays songs we like." I had to explain to her that Daddy listens to sports talk radio, and we COULD change the station, I just never really bother doing so.
