Canvasing for no on one

The Wiggles

We went to see the Wiggles Go Bananas. All day the kids were so excited! When we finished getting dressed Kaden asked, "Wiggles?" And again when we were getting ready to go to the Dr's for flu vaccines, and again when we went to dance class. It was such a fun time. Here are a few pictures.

Murray came right up into the crowd and walked past Mark & the Kids, Mackinna got scared and ran to my lap.

Halloween at school & Main St

Grandma Campbell made the most beautiful Max & Ruby costumes for the kids this year. Mackinna got to put it to great use, dressing up 4 days in a row. Wednesday for her school parade & party, Thursday for dance class, Friday for Halloween on Main St and obviously tonight for trick or treating. Here are some pictures from Wed & Fri. (Kaden joined in for the school parade)

A good babysitter

Mackinna must have asked Lucy to babysit Salice tonight.

And to bed

We had a great night at the Wiggles go bananas.  I will post pictures soon.  There was no intermission at the show though,so the kids did not get the Civic Center food that was promised to them, instead we stopped on the way home and got them candy.  Kaden ate a good amount of "Kids" (Sour patch kids), then we put the remainder in a zip lock bag, which... HE INSISTED ON BRINGING TO BED WITH HIM.  Suddenly clutching the wallet, cell phone or football to fall asleep seem nearly normal compared to a zip lock bag of candy.

Today's nap time companion

Today Kaden took his cell phone to nap with him.

The Debut of Max & Ruby

Mackinna (Ruby) had her school Halloween parade & sing along yesterday.  Kaden (Max) joined in for some of the fun.

Forget teddy bears

For a couple of months now Kaden has been picking somewhat odd things to take to bed with him each night or nap time. Its not every time- but a few times a week for sure. It started with his wallet. I'd be ready to bring him up to bed and he'd start crying, "no Mommy...wallet." He'd clutch his wallet and fall asleep. Then Grandma Campbell brought him a new Mickey Mouse football when she came to visit and for a few nights he brought that to bed with him until he rediscovered his wallet. He then decided to bring both the wallet and the football to bed. In the mornings when he'd come into our room to cuddle, he'd be dragging his snuggie blanket, his red sox fleece blanket, his football and his wallet. It seemed truly ridiculous, until yesterday at nap time when he decided to bring his toy hammer, hand saw, screw driver and drill all to bed with him!
