On the road again = eating again

Now Kaden has moved on to cereal bars and watching the Cedarmont kids Christmas carols video. In about an hour we should be able to work in a morning nap. He'll probably have at least one more snack between now and then.

Day two in our drive to Tennesse. Yes it's 8am and he's eating chex
mix.

Such a grown up girl

Today Mackinna was the calendar helper at school, and her teacher told me she counted to 18-OUT LOUD in front of all her friends.  This is huge for her!  And then this afternoon she played alone at our neighbor Julia's for about 45 minutes till Julia's grandma walked her home.  Again huge!  Plus she's been going to bed and falling asleep alone in her room for a few weeks now, without whimpering even most nights.  She really is a big girl and if you forget...she'll remind you!

We've been home from preschool for well over an hour, but Mackinna is
still wearing her hat. She must think it looks good with her striped
