Bless you

This evening, Kaden freaked out a bit and exclaimed urgently, "Mommy, I need a tissue," while pointing to slime on the inside of his elbow.  "What is that Nuggie?" I asked as I approach him with the tissue.  His reply, "The bless-you-stuff." And as I get closer, I see it is indeed snot.

If I were a Seagull...

After a day at the beach today, Kaden says to me, "if I were a
seagull, I'd live at the beach and when I got hungy, I'd steal
people's food. And if I saw a bag with cookies in it, I'd eat them!

Egg plants?

Today while playing school we were talking about things found in a garden.  Mackinna suggested tomatoes then Kaden raised his hand and said, "eggs!"  "Kaden, eggs come from chickens, you know that." I say.  He replies, "Well what about egg plants?  They grow eggs too."  Now it makes a little more sense why a kid who hates vegetables was so excited for to bring home his very own eggplant for the garden... He does love eggs!

Farmers

We planted the garden today.  My little helpers were so eager to be like farmers.  That lasted about a minute and 15 seconds, then they had better things to do.  Thanks guys!

Kaden's birthday??

... At school at least. Since he is a summer birthday boy, he is

celebrating with his friends at school today with brownie Popsicles.

Only 2 more days left for him after today!
